Palos Verdes coastal hike, then matcha & brunch

Cute views, pictures, a little exercise, then matcha and brunch. Not an exhausting hiking expedition 😂

  1. 9:15Meet and park at Pelican Cove Park (we’re leaving Downey around 8:30)
  2. 9:20Bluff-top trail north toward Vicente Bluffs and Golden Cove, with a stop at Vista Point for pictures
  3. 10:30Turn back to the cars, then a 5–10 min drive
  4. 10:45Matcha and brunch at Yellow Vase. Raspberry matcha and the Sweet Dreams crepe are calling
  5. 12:00Head home, or keep the birthday going

  • Marked trails only, no climbing down to the rocks

Pumpkin night at Live Oak Canyon

A cute fall night with our lovers: pumpkins, corn maze, rides, fall photos and farm food.

  1. 5:30Meet at the main entrance and pick pumpkins first. The fields and hayride close at sunset, around 6:15
  2. 6:15Corn maze, rides, petting zoo
  3. 7:30Group and birthday pictures under the lights
  4. 8:00Food and more attractions. Optional haunted maze for the brave
  5. 10:00Farm closes

Brunch at Cocina 35 + Little Italy

Drew and I will be down for the weekend, and it looks like a lot of us will be too. Mexican brunch, then a slow walk around Little Italy before everyone heads home.

  2. 1:30Little Italy walk: India Street, Piazza della Famiglia, coffee or dessert
  3. 3:00Head home before the Sunday traffic gets bad
